Email works differently here
Spam and scams are turned away before they ever reach you. No spam folder to dig through — they simply never arrive.

New senders wait in the Intray
Mail from people you don't know yet lands in the Intray — not your inbox. Trust a sender to let them in, or block them and never see them again.

Your inbox learns who you trust
Reply to someone once — or tap "Trust sender" — and their mail comes straight to your inbox from then on. The longer you use it, the better it gets.
Where should we send a password reset?
Use an address somewhere else — Gmail, Outlook, work. If you ever lose access to this inbox, that's where your reset link goes.
How strict should your filter be?
You can change this any time in My Account.
Standard protection
Spam and scams are turned away. Mail from people you don't know yet waits in the Intray so you can decide. Recommended.
Maximum protection
Only people you add are delivered. Everything else is discarded, including mail you might want. Nothing waits in the Intray for review. Choose this only if you know exactly who should be able to reach you.
Who should always reach you?
Add an email address, or a whole company like acme.com. You can add more later.
Anyone you never want to hear from?
Their mail is discarded on arrival. Most people skip this — you can block anyone later with one tap.

How careful your inbox is. Strict lets mail from someone new wait in your Intray, so you can look before it reaches your inbox. Maximum only lets through people you have trusted — everything else is thrown away.

Maximum
Only trusted senders get through

People whose mail always goes straight to your inbox. Add someone here and you will never miss their email.

People you never want to hear from. Their mail is thrown away before it reaches you — you will not see it at all.

Words you never want to see. Emails containing one are thrown away. Useful for scams that keep changing address but always say the same thing.

Blocks emails with this word in the subject line or the sender's address.

Most scam email comes from abroad. Turn this on and mail sent from outside the United States is thrown away.

Newsletters and marketing emails are removed automatically unless the sender is in your trusted senders or Updates list. Turn this off and they will wait in your Intray instead, where you can trust, block, or move them to Updates.

Have a Gmail or other email address? Set it to forward here, and its mail arrives in this app, sorted into its own folder — with anyone you've blocked, and any blocked words, still filtered out.

1. Add the address that will forward its mail here — this is how that mail is recognized and given its own folder. Without it, forwarded mail may not be delivered:
2. Copy your Magn@tar address:
3. Open Gmail's forwarding settings, tap "Add a forwarding address", and paste it in:
4. Google sends a confirmation email — it will be waiting in your inbox here. Open it and tap the link inside.
5. Back in Gmail settings, choose "Forward a copy of incoming mail" and save. Until you select this, nothing is forwarded.

File mail from these accounts into their own folders. Turns on automatically when you add an address above.
